REFUND POLICY

Refund Option - Used and Unused Season Passes

There will be NO REFUNDS on Season Passes unless the REFUND OPTION is purchased at the time of pass purchase.

For those who have purchased the refund option, refunds for Season Passes will only be considered due to medical conditions supported by a doctor’s certificate OR relocation of employment with supporting documents provided.

Season Pass usage is deducted from the refund amount. Calculations for these types of refunds is as follows - the cost of your Season Pass less the cost of days skied (at window rate for applicable age category) to a maximum of the percentage listed below at the date of claim.

For those who have purchased the refund option, whether it be a used or unused pass, the refund amount will be based on the date the claim is received in our Calgary Office:

DATE OF CLAIM* MAXIMUM REFUND
Prior to December 15th or first Resort operating date (Whichever comes first) 100%
Prior to January 15th 60%
Prior to February 15th 40%
Prior to March 15th 25%
On or after March 15th (No applications will be accepted after March 14th) 0%

Submission cut offs are PRIOR to the 15th for the months listed above. Please note when submitting day of (on the 15th) you will be into the next cut off period.

RCR Season Passes are non-transferrable to future seasons regardless of circumstance or usage.   This means if a pass remains unused through the season, it will not be eligible to be moved to a future season.

PRE-SEASON REFUND POLICY:

Season Passes will be eligible for a refund, without refund option purchase or documentation required, for pass holders who have submitted a request prior to the first day of the applicable Resort operating. In the case of multi-resort Season Passes (Super Passes and RCR Rockies Season Passes) this would be the first Resort to begin operations. The refund will be subject to a 9% refund option fee if this was not selected at time of pass purchase. For those who didn’t purchase the refund option, requests received after the season start date will not be considered - there will be no exceptions.

REFUND OPTION

The Refund Option is 9% of the Membership/Season Pass price plus GST. For example, if the cost if your pass is $1500.00 then the cost of the option will be $135.00 + GST.
The refund option purchased for your Season Pass is non-refundable and all Season Passes are non-transferable to future seasons. If you have multiple single passes, you will need to purchase the refund option for every pass you would like covered.

REFUND EXAMPLE

Any ski days used will be deducted from the refund amount at the window rate price of the winter lift ticket for that Resort. If the deduction amount of days used on your Seasons Pass refund exceeds the dollar value your pass was purchased at, we will be unable to proceed with a refund.

Example:
Cost of Pass: $1500 + GST. Before applying for a refund, the pass was scanned on 7 days at Fernie Alpine Resort where the lift ticket price for a full day is $150. Cost of Skied days: 7 x $150 = $1050 + GST. Therefore, the refund amount on this pass would be $1500 - $1050 = $450 + GST.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT STUDENT AND FAMILY PASSES

Student Passes:
To qualify for a Student Pass you must be between the ages of 18-24 years old and attending a college, university or high school full-time in Canada. The high school, university, or college (not an apprenticeship) must be recognized by ski area management. Guests may be asked at any time to provide proof of age (picture ID) and a student ID card clearly indicating your full-time student status and year of validity.
