The Night Rider pass offers unlimited access to night skiing at Kimberley Alpine Resort throughout the 2026/2027 season. Valid for students who are 18-24 years old who are attending school full time at a Canadian high school or post-secondary institute are eligible for this pass. Birthdays are calculated as of December 31, 2026.

If you are already a seasoned ski veteran Kimberley features 80 runs on 1800 acres with ambitious terrain including the Black Forest glades where powder stashes last for weeks.

With a huge variety of ski in/ski out accommodations, many condo style with kitchens and family fun activities including the skating rink, night skiing, events and après activities for the kids or live music in the Stemwinder for the parents, Kimberley truly is the all-around winter playground you have been searching for.

Important – It is the responsibility of the pass purchaser to ensure they are abiding by our pass type parameters and eligibility requirements when making their pass purchase. Pass purchase is considered acknowledgment and acceptance of the pass type definitions.

To determine your pass category, all ages are calculated as of December 31st, 2026 for Winter Passes and July 1, 2026, for Summer Passes.

Adult Pass – Individuals aged 18-64.

Youth Pass – Individuals aged 13-17.

Child Pass – Individual aged 6-12.

Tiger Pass – Individuals 5 years and under.  Proof of age is required with the type of pass purchase and documentation could be requested at any time.

Senior Pass – Individuals aged 65-74.  Proof of age is required with the type of pass purchase and documentation could be requested at any time.

75+ Pass – Individuals aged 75 and over.  Proof of age is required with the type of pass purchase and documentation could be requested at any time.

Midweek Pass – The Midweek Pass offers unlimited access to applicable Resort Ski Area Monday through Thursday.  Individuals aged 18 to 64.

Family Pass – Family is defined as two parents (18+) and their dependent children under the age of 18 living in the same principal residence. Children that are between the ages of 18-24 and are attending full-time school in Canada, are eligible for the Student Add-On for an additional price.

Student Pass – Students 18-24 who are attending school full-time at a Canadian high school or post-secondary institute are eligible.  Proof of student status is required with this type of pass and documentation could be requested at any time.

Student Add-on Pass – This pass can only be purchased alongside a Family pass. Students 18-24 who are attending school full-time at a Canadian high school or post-secondary institute are eligible.  Proof of student status is required with this type of pass purchase and documentation could be requested at any time.

Grade 2 Fun Pass – The Grade 2 Fun Pass allows unlimited access to all four RCR resorts including Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Nakiska Ski Area. NEW this season, the Grade 2 Fun Pass must be picked up in person at Guest Services and will not be mailed out. Proof of age/enrollment in Grade 2 is required at the time of pass pick-up. This can include registration papers, report card, or birth certificate

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Season Passes specifically:

Cancellation prior to season starting (defined as when any resort included on your pass is open)
Passes may be cancelled prior to pass processing at no cost to the customer, and a full refund will be issued, less $50 per individual or $100 per family pass, reflecting costs associated to the purchase.

After the season has commenced
Once the season has started and services are available, no refunds will be provided, except where required under applicable consumer protection legislation.

General Terms

  • Prior to the season starting (when any resort on the pass is open), passes may be cancelled for a refund less $50 per individual pass and $100 per family pass, reflecting costs allocated to the purchase.
  • Once the season has commenced (when any resort included on the pass is open), all passes are non-refundable except where required under applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Refund or cancellation requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law.
  • Any refund amounts and applicable fees will be determined to the extent permitted by law. No entitlement to a refund exists beyond what is required under applicable legal requirements.
  • Where a right of cancellation is provided under applicable consumer protection laws, the value of services rendered will be determined on a pro rata basis, calculated according to the number of operational days provided up to the effective date of cancellation.
  • For the purpose of this calculation, services are considered provided where access to the resort and its facilities has been made available, including access to any portion of the terrain or operations. Service availability is not contingent on full terrain access and is not affected by partial closures, mechanical issues, weather conditions, or other operational disruptions, except as may be required by applicable law.
  • Refund requests will be considered only where they meet the requirements of applicable law and are supported by all documentation required by law.
