Kimberley Alpine Resort – IFSA Jeep Junior Freeski Regional Competition – February 25, 2017 and February 26, 2017

Kimberley Alpine Resort is excited to host the Jeep Junior Freeski Competition 2017! Come see some of the best junior freeskiers in the region display their skills here at Kimberley Alpine Resort!

Competitors will display their skiing skills on natural terrain while being judged in 5 categories – Line Choice, Control, Fluidity, Technique and Style/Energy.

All age cut off dates are based on the age turned prior to December 31, 2016. The only exception is juniors 18 years of age may stay in the junior category until turning 19. Even if said junior turns 19 in the middle of the season, that athlete must move into the adult category events.

Registration cost: Entry fee for the event is $80 + GST. 20% off lift tickets for competitors.

Registration is limited to the first 100 competitors and is first come, first serve, so register early before the event sells out!

This event is open to skiers ages 7-18 with 6 categories.
GIRLS: 7-11, 12-14, and 15-18 and BOYS: 7-11, 12-14, and 15-18

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:
– Helmets are MANDATORY for all competitors. Other protection (back protectors, etc) is recommended but not mandatory
– $20 Cash Bib Deposit is required at Registration. Bib deposit is returned in full when the bib is returned at the end of the event.
– All competitors must have a valid lift ticket/season pass. Discounted competitors lift tickets are available at registration
– All competitors must have valid medical coverage for the event (meaning all American competitors must have valid medical travel insurance for Canada and ensure their coverage extends to the nature of the event).
– All competitors MUST sign an IFSA Waiver and RCR Event Waiver. Under 16s must have a legal parent or guardian sign the waiver. All competitors need to have completed Waivers in order to compete.
